COVID Guidelines for Sellers

Your safety is of utmost importance to the Best of Austin Living Team at Keller Williams Realty. Our strategy will be created with you based upon your specific needs. For both sellers and buyers, we are using best practices to keep everyone as safe as possible. - Optimize online purchasing power and understanding of the property with with high definition photos, virtual 3D tour, room measurements and a walk through video. - Personalized virtual showings for buyers can be scheduled via Showing Time. A virtual showing would be done via FaceTime. - In preparation for in-person showings, seller will leave all lights on and leave all interior doors open so the buyer(s) do not have to open any doors. - For any in-person showings or open houses, we will provide detailed showing instructions, including: - We can post the showing instructions on the door. - For in-person open houses, we can admit one party at a time to maintain social distancing. - We will provide sanitizer wipes for buyer agents to wipe down any surfaces they touch including door handles and handrails. - Buyer(s) can be asked to be in and out of the house within 15 minutes. - Buyer(s) will need to wear masks and can be asked to leave their shoes outside the house and to not touch ANYTHING in the home. Shoe covers can be provided. - Buyer(s) will be asked to sign the COVID statement confirming if they have been sick or if they have a temperature. - In cases where sellers need to limit persons in the house, in-person showings are for buyers who have seen the video and 1) have put in a preliminary contract or 2) submitted the lender pre-approval letter. The preliminary contract would be executed after buyer(s) have seen the property. This is on a case-by-case basis. - On a case-by-case basis, viewing the outside of the property and yard can be scheduled using Showing Time. Buyers are asked not to knock or ask questions of the sellers.
